Leaving the feed? Good.
Orbit is what social looks like when you're the customer instead of the crop.
What you're leaving behind
Built for the exit
- End-to-end encrypted messages , keys live on your device; we physically cannot read them. See the privacy policy.
- Private by architecture , invite-only orbits, no public graph, no search-strangers.
- Everything we know about you fits in one ZIP , Settings → Export my data, emailed to you, and the export shows what isn't there: no location, no contacts, no ad profile, no tracking history. What we don't collect.
- Moderated like we mean it , real prohibited-content rules, human-decided enforcement, zero tolerance for child exploitation. How we moderate.
- Works when the network doesn't , thoughts you write offline queue on your device and send when you're back. More offline is coming; your words shouldn't need a connection to exist.
- 18+ only , this is a space for adults who chose to be here.
For families: kids in the photos, not on the platform
Your kids' childhood belongs in a private orbit, not on a public feed.
Orbit is 18+ by design. Your kids don't get accounts here, and that's the point. You create the family orbit; the adults who love them join it: the other parent, grandparents, aunts and uncles. The recital video, the beach weekend, the first day of school: posted once, seen only by the people you invited, and nothing else happens to it.
- No strangers. Invite-only, no public profiles, no discovery, nobody your family didn't choose.
- No companies. No ad profile is built on your eight-year-old. No engagement data. No tracking pixel following your family around the internet.
- No models. Your kids' faces are not training data. We don't train AI on your content. It's in our privacy policy, in writing.
- No leaks by design. Metadata (location, device info) is stripped from every photo before it leaves your phone. There's no re-share button. If someone screenshots, you're notified.
- Kids can still watch. Show them the family orbit on your phone. They see grandma's reaction; they're part of it, without an account, a profile, or a data trail that follows them to adulthood.
When they're old enough to choose social media for themselves, they'll inherit something rare: a childhood that was never public.
Bring your people
Orbit doesn't import your follower graph. That's the point. You start with the people who matter enough to invite. One orbit, a handful of people, and the group chat that actually feels like your friends again. Invite with a QR code from your profile; they're in before the kettle boils.
